MSc in Psychology, University of Oregon, 2018
MA in Journalism, University of Oregon, 2018

Shortly after completing his BA in psychology at the University of British Columbia, Cameron began studying accounting at the Sauder School of Business. Missing the thrill of research, Cameron applied to and, subsequently, began attending the University of Oregon in 2016. Despite a wide interest in many different areas of psychology, Cameron’s core research interests focus on abnormal personality traits and unconventional beliefs. With respect to the former, Cameron is interested in the potential adaptive benefits of the Dark Triad (i.e., Machiavellianism, narcissism, and psychopathy), as well as how these traits interact with perceptions of morality. Concerning unconventional beliefs, Cameron has also recently embarked on a project to investigate the mindset that underlies the tendency to believe in conspiracy theories.
